Weekend update

Well, I went to the housing authority and picked up an application. There's a whole list of stuff I have to be sure to have with me when I go to turn it in, including birth certificate and social security card, both of which I have to order copies of. So that will take me another couple of weeks before I can get either of those. I'm still trying to stay hopeful that, once those come in, I have a chance at getting an apartment. I'm also continuing to look for a job. At this point, even getting hired as temporary Christmas help would be an improvement. At least that would give me a chance.

I went out to try taking pictures for my photography class. I got maybe four shots of the downtown are in the rain, then was going to head up the river road, but I was too low on gas and the windshield wipers were acting up. I'll have to make sure to have those looked at soon. I'll be making another attempt at the pictures tomorrow, and spending the rest of tonight trying to work on the magazine cover that's coming due in Desktop Publishing.
